Rachel Martin has loved the performing arts since she started dancing at three years old. Over the years, she trained in various styles and grew a strong connection to the stage. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from The College of New Jersey and now teaches middle school Language Arts. Outside of the classroom, Rachel stays connected to her creative roots by helping with her school’s musical productions, sharing her passion for storytelling and performance with her students.

What is your best dance memory?
One of my favorite dance memories is standing in the wings, watching my friends perform and cheering them on. I always loved sharing in their excitement and supporting each other from behind the scenes.
What are you most looking forward to at ZZ DANCE?
I’m most looking forward to being part of a community that not only shares a passion for dance but also prioritizes kindness, inclusivity, and giving back.
