Sammy, Meredith and all the ZZ mentors set a caring tone that promotes confidence, growth, and community service. We are so grateful to have given our daughter this experience. ZZ helped Michelle flourish both on and off the stage and prepared her well for college and the path ahead. It instilled in her a lifelong love of dance, desire to positively impact her community and beyond, and the inspiration to dedicate herself to big goals.

ZZ DANCE is such a special place for us. The mentors are incredibly caring and passionate about sharing their love for dance and community. Over the past three years, I have watched Taylor’s confidence, skills, and love for dance (especially tap) grow tremendously thanks to their support. Now, as she begins her next chapter as a ZZ Mentor, I’m so excited to see her inspire and support other dancers the same way she was.

ZZ DANCE is a wonderful dance studio! Miss Sammy and Miss Mer have created a wonderful environment where my daughter, Ally, danced since they opened their doors in 2020, until her recent graduation (class of 2025). She was surrounded by positivity, encouragement, and, above all, kindness. The ZZ Mentors truly care about all of the students. Not only are dance skills and technique a top priority, but also giving back to the community through the Ambassador program and, most of all, ZZ GIVES. Being able to inspire and motivate young dancers to be the best they can be – on and off the dance floor – is what makes ZZ DANCE truly special.

ZZ DANCE, Miss Sammy and Miss Mer – along with the other mentors have been an inspirational part of my daughter -Juliana’s life. She is off to college, but will always remember her time at ZZ, and will definitely be back to visit. It was her home away from home, her happy place and safe space. She has made lifelong connections and learned how to be a better version of herself. Although I am saddened to leave this amaZZing place, I know the memories and friends are forever!

ZZ is more than teaching children how to dance, they are helping parents raise kind, empathetic and socially aware young people. ZZ is a safe place devoid of the negativity often associated with recreational and competitive dance. The mentors at ZZ have supported my children through some of the most challenging aspects of their lives. They have always felt loved and cared for- it has been a home away from home. It takes a village to raise a child and I am blessed that ZZ Dance is part of mine.

ZZ Dance was truly a second home for my daughter Jordyn.

The mentors at ZZ Dance helped her grow not just physically and technically as a dancer, but mentally and emotionally as a young woman. Sammy and Meredith played a crucial role in her journey, and we will be forever grateful for their influence and guidance.

Jordyn’s love for dance will continue into her college years, and she finds comfort in knowing that ZZ will always have an open door for her to return and dance whenever she wants. Through her time at the studio, she became independent, strong, and community-minded—gaining valuable life skills through both dance and service. Most importantly, she was always genuinely happy to be there.

As a parent, I had the privilege of serving on the committee for ZZ Gives, which taught me important life lessons as well. I especially love that Jordyn was able to see family members getting involved outside the studio, reinforcing the importance of giving back and being part of something bigger.

Thanks to ZZ Dance, I know Jordyn will carry the life lessons she learned here and continue to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Sammy & Meredith are such an inspiration! From the moment I met them both, they each radiated warmth, compassion, and strong dedication to making a difference in their community and the lives of the dancers they teach every day. Sammy & Meredith continue to demonstrate their continued commitment to Make-A-Wish New Jersey and granting the wishes of children battling critical illnesses through their annual ZZ Gives event, each year raising more and more money to move our mission forward. It takes special and exceptional people to instill confidence, self-worth, and a heart for others in our up-and-coming generations of young people. It is with much admiration and joy that I have had the privilege to know and work with Sammy and Meredith. I watch them be such positive and genuine role models for young girls and boys. Sammy and Meredith help our young people embrace and celebrate what makes them special and unique through dance, help develop their talents, and most of all, have compassion and take action to help others. Throughout the 5 years I have worked with them in their support of Make-A-Wish New Jersey to raise vital funds for our mission to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses, their passion and commitment to our mission is unparalleled. The difference Sammy and Meredith make in the lives of dancers and Wish children in New Jersey brings the promise of bright futures for generations to come of caring individuals.

During my time at Make-A-Wish New Jersey, I have worked with Sammy and Meredith for 3 years and have had the privilege to watch Sammy’s charity event, DANCE 4a CAUSE, grow into one of our most impactful for Make-A-Wish. This event would not be possible without the leadership, dedication, and kindness that Sammy and Meredith show in every task they perform. Make-A-Wish New Jersey is lucky to have people like Sammy and Meredith who continue to support the mission and Wish kids year after year, while simultaneously teaching dancers about the power of generosity, charity and compassion.

We simply adore Miss Sammy and Miss Meredith, as they’ve been true heroes to the severely impaired children we serve around the country. It’s been an honor to partner with them on numerous dance events, as they’ve enabled us to invite physically impaired children to take part in group activities often reserved only for able-bodied youths. The passion and generosity they have shown our foundation these past few years have been paramount to our mission to empower brain injury survivors to not only strive for greatness, but to achieve it, as well. We look forward to building meaningful programs together for these incredible kids for years to come.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for an all-inclusive dance program look into ZZ Jams. Sammy has created many opportunities for our children of Camp Cranium with acquired brain injuries to engage in dance. All our children have various abilities both physical and cognitive that make them unique. Sammy has been able to be all-inclusive and accommodative in her dance instruction. For some of our children it’s the first time they have been able to participate in dance since their brain injury.
