Jaimie Geddes has been dancing for almost her entire life, and has been teaching in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the past 18 years. She trained in South Jersey studying with Meghan Braun, Molly Misgalla, Mia Michaels, Joe Lanteri, and Andy Blankenbuehler. She also grew up dancing with Miss Sammy and Miss Meredith.
Her love of dance led to a passion for musical theatre. She has since played many iconic roles including Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Velma Kelly in Chicago, Judy Haynes in White Christmas, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda. She is currently a member of the resident company at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ.
In addition to working at various studios in NJ and PA, she spent 5 years as the dance choreographer at the Pennsylvania State Thespian Conference in York, PA. She also assisted Tony nominated choreographer Lorin Lotarro (Broadway’s Waitress, Into the Woods) at the Bucks County Playhouse. Her choreography has won awards at ASH, True Dance Challenge, Turn It Up Dance, and DECA. She cannot wait to share her love of dance with new students at ZZ DANCE!

White Christmas – but really anything with Vera Ellen! The best things really do happen while you’re dancing!

Musical Theatre!

Performing as Charity in Sweet Charity!
What are you most looking forward to at ZZ DANCE?
Getting to share my love of dance and musical theatre with new students – AND continuing to watch my nieces and nephew grow as dancers and people here!
