
Mentor
Amanda Keller Fruchter is a dance teacher, choreographer and a former professional dancer. She studied ballet at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet for 13 years and performed in various productions in the corps and as a soloist. She holds her BA in Dance and Social and Historical Inquiry from The New School in NYC. After college, she performed professionally with In-Sight Dance Company before moving to Chapel Hill, NC to attend UNC Chapel Hill for graduate school in Education, (MA). Amanda moved to Philadelphia in 2016 to pursue her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Dance and Choreography from Temple University. After graduating with her MFA, Amanda taught in the dance department at Temple University. In addition, Amanda has worked as a creative movement instructor and ballet teacher for Markeim Arts Center, Cherry Hill Recreation Department and the Katz JCC. Amanda is very excited to be a ZZ Mentor!

My favorite dance moment was teaching my daughter’s first ballet class.
